Even in this age of bellowing entertainment all clamoring for our attention,
there is still in children and schoolteachers alike the same joy at the
faint pianissimo sound of a snowflake settling.
-
- Ode to a Finished Meal -
A corps of corpse-like cobs of corn
But a pale shadow of what they used to be
Lies lightly on my plate forlorn.
-
- Something so Deep That You'll Fall Asleep -
Dreams that are so real
you don't know you are asleep,
or
Reality that is so dream-like
you don't remember waking up...
-
- Hope -
Hope springs infernally,
and often bounces right out of control.
But a pale shadow of what they used to be
Lies lightly on my plate forlorn.

i like the bottom two. dreams and hope. i think dreams are so real you don't know that you are asleep. (have you ever woken up dreaming, and then continue dreaming even while you're partially conscious?) you are right. hope often springs infernal.
Hey Isaac, Awesome blog! I loved the movie! I need to learn how to edit them like that. You have some really neat things on here. See you back at GBS...in a week...ugghh

Like your blog Ike! Your post about the fear of professionalism in the holiness movement was spot on. Good thoughts!
A question - If you can hear one snowflake settling, wouldn't that constitute a bellowing clamor in a snowstorm? :)
Nice blog!
